Robert A. Shultz, D.O., FACOI

Robert A. Shultz, D.O., FACOI, is a 1984 graduate of the Kirksville College of osteopathic medicine. He completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his fellowship training, Dr. Shultz served as a visiting fellow at several prestigious medical centers including the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Washington University, and the University of Michigan Medical Centers.

About Dr. Shultz

Dr. Shultz is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Shultz has a special interest in acid reflux disease and Barrett’s Esophagus emphasizing the prevention of esophageal cancer. Dr. Shultz is married and is the father of six. He enjoys his family, cooking, fishing, music, and being outdoors.

Dr. Shultz has received several patient recognition awards given to less than 1% of practicing physicians. These have included Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award, five-year honoree, the Patient’s Choice Award, five-year honoree, and Vitals Top 10 Doctors Award for the greater Orlando area in gastroenterology.
